Mickey on the Door

When I was younger, I'd always get the crappy stocking on my door. My bro always got the one with Santa (which played 'Jingle Bells' when you pressed on it), my sis always got the one with Mickey Mouse, and I always got stuck with a plain red stocking. But now with my siblings outta of their rooms, I now get the cool stocking! muahahahahahahah...

So it's been a couple of days since I've been home, and it's been pretty sweet. So far, I've basically hung out with everyone I intend to and actually want to see. There are just a few of them who are still on their way home from college (suckers :P). Got some jamba, watched some movies, went to the mall, sledded, visited some of the old teachers, and just hung out- you know, the usual at-home, catch-up-on-the-times sort of activities. I'm running outta stuff to do quick, and the coldness is definitely putting a damper on the keep-fit activities- o well, I'll just hafta hit the ground running (literally) when I go back to college.

O, so I got most of my grades back for the semester. Turns out I didn't do as horribly as I had thought. Actually, scratch that- I still did horribly, but not as horrible in comparison to other students in the class, thus giving me a decent grade. Thank god for curving. So, yea, I think I still get to stay a James Scholar, yippee.

Enjoy your respective holidays folks!

Headin' On Home

A picture to describe just how happy I am to take this break. I <3 CL.

Finals done- they sucked. Probably after this semester, I won't be a James Scholar anymore- you need to maintain a 3.5 or higher, IMPOSSIBLE in a science major (for most people that is). Whatever. The only perk is that you get first choice when class selection comes around for the semester, and I already picked 'em, ha.

Not too bummed, mostly because I get to go home today.

Here's to a (hopefully) good and relaxing couple weeks.

Finals

This week is gonna suck, but whatever'll get me home.

Tuesday: PSYC100 7-10PM

Thursday: MCB150 1:30-4:30PM/ CHEM102 7-10PM

Friday: SPAN103 9-11AM

I've put off studying so much, I even went to the gym today to work out instead, ha. Actually, it was a really good de-stresser. I'm pretty psyched too, cause I ran a mile in the best time since like ever, which is good considering that I haven't been to the gym since like the end of October. I think I'm gonna keep at the gym this week in between studying. It'll keep me from getting too bored and cramming for hours, and I need to do something before I go back home and proceed to gain a poopload of weight. So now it's off to the books...right...

Ughm (A.K.A. Lame)

-to the first snow of the season, here and gone (sigh)-

Twas home temporarily on friday night- attended a family party. Not as many people showed as I'd of imagined, but fun nonetheless. So now I'm back at the university, bored as usual. It rained here I guess, so now the snow is all frosty and none too aesthetically pleasing. Already feels like sunday...o wait, it is now I guess.

Whatever.

Keep it Coming

Snow. Snow. Snow.

Yesterday was pretty damn good...well aside from some things. I actually made it to all my classes, despite most of them being optional. Reviews in spanish and biology, sweet demos in chemistry, and a quiz in psychology. Then dinner with the usual and a nap. Actually had a floor meeting as well yesterday, second of the whole semester- dorm closing procedures and such, which just excites me for the break.

Now comes the fun part. Waited for Liz to come back to the dorms, then took a walk with her out in the blizzard- used her camera. Then we decided to visit the frat next door to drop in on Liz's roomate's boyfriend's surprise party. Ended up being a great night- cool people chatting 'til like 2AM...and other stuff.

And now comes the not so fun part. Shit hit the fan yesterday in a different situation, colliding with my good time at the party in the form of a phone call. I feel bad that I had my hand in on the situation indeed, but in the end, it all comes back to one person.

Serious part over- now for a pic that makes me feel young(er) again.

¡Está Nevando!

Dragon Spines or Flames?

So usually on tuesdays I have three classes, but since spanish and chemistry were optional today, I had a big load of nothing on my hands until 3:30PM. Should of been studying or doing something productive during that time, but -yea- doing nothing just seemed more appealing. So after my morning/ noontime off, I went to psyc for a quiz. Then dinner with Megan and Noons, and a chem test at 7. That test really became my dominatrix for that hour and a half...sorry for the mental picture. But seriously, it was a massacre.

On a lighter note, it's starting to snow down here, and I love it.

And now for some song lyrics:
"How I, I am not into the idea of living without you
And I, I am not into the idea of being without you
And no, this won't be a sad song
There's gonna be claps and singing along
'Cause you're there when you talk and you're there not to stop
and you're with me around the clock."
(Rocket Summer/Around the Clock)
